Description

Precision Weld PW-06 is a desktop welding machine to realize micro welding in the circumstance where the traditional soldering is found handicapped. It works by capacitance electrical discharging in mini-seconds and high temperature welding at the spot. It can handle the wire down to ø0.0125mm or AWG#55. As it's solder free, no harmful substance is carried to environment and thus meets RoHS regulation. The machine is further equipped by various features in order to enhance the operation flexibility and efficiency. Precision Weld PW-06 has been demonstrated its productivity and reliability in component industry, for example inductor, mini motor and mini speaker etc. Since the Precision Weld PW-06 has overcome the limitation of traditional soldering, further smaller product design and zero correction rate become possible now.

Operation Principle

When the capacitor discharges, high electrical currents flows through the welding tip. Since the welding tip concentrates the energy at a small spot, high temperature has reached momentarily in this spot. This temperature is high enough to melt the wire or even the enamelled insulator outside the enamelled wire.
With the enamelled insulator removed, the welding tip makes contact with the wire. Majority of the current then flow through the wire, heats and melts the wire, thus welding the wire or enamelled wire with the metal underneath.
